Atrament Pióromaniaka Jesień 2019 (Pióromaniak’s ink Autumn 2019) is a brand new ink line realized by our polish online store – Pióromaniak in collaboration with Czech ink maker – Inkebara. The Autumn line consists of 3 beautiful colors reminding fallen leaves – Green, Yellow, Brown. The bottles were limited to about 30 of the color, so they’re no longer available, but they’re gonna be new lines for other sessions. The inks come in glass 30ml bottles.
So let’s start with the first one – Zielony, which means just “green” in polish.
It’s a beautiful medium, warm green.
Consistency – it’s rather waterish, similar to Herbin inks.
Flow – very good +. It writes wetly and smoothly. It also reminds me of Herbin inks, although I don’t think it’s as good as the second ones. There’re no hard starts or skipping even though I have it in my TWSBI for over a month.
Saturation – very good.
Bleeding – average. There’re some spots in Moleskine and on a copy paper.
Feathering – there’s some on a copy paper, but only a little.
Shading – medium/high, very nice!
Dry time – average, about 20s on Rhodia
Water resistance – none. After 5 minutes there’s only a light stain left.
Comparison: Alt Gold-Grun looks much darker here – the nib gave too much ink. Krishna Ghat Green is the closest one. Diamine Wagner is more yellow. Both Alt Gold-Grun and KWZ Gold Green #2 are more green.
Overall, it’s a very nice ink! I love the color – I was looking for green like this. It’s very autumn! It behaves very well and I really enjoy using it. I can’t wait for a winter collection! Great job Pióromaniak and Inkebara!
