Robert Oster Signature Blue Sea

And finally, here’s another review!

This colour may look ordinary, but it’s pretty interesting – I would say it’s darker and calmer turquoise. It’s definitely less green than Fire & Ice, bluer and more faded than Blue Water Ice and lighter than Soda Pop Blue. I really like it.

Oxford 80/m2

Flow – very good – I have nothing to complain about. It’s pretty wet, writes smoothly, starts immediately. Very nice ink.

Saturation – very good minus – just like other Robert Oster’s inks, the colour is saturated but not so vibrant.

Plano Universal 80g/m2 copy paper

Herlitz Rainbow notebook

Double A 80g/m2

Bleeding – average, some points on copy papers.

Feathering – minimal on a crappy paper

Tomoe River

Shading – pretty high

Dry time – good, about 17s on Rhodia

Waterproofness – complete lack

So, it’s another great blue ink from Robert Oster! It behaves very well, the colour is interesting and usable. Now I’ll have troubles to stop myself from buying them all 😀
